Great location, unfortunately closed at the moment, or only pick up food.

I liked it there because the nature is very beautiful and the cleanliness in the restaurant itself is very helpful. The waiter's people cater to every need and the excellent cuisine that I recommend to everyone there

Very nice restaurant located in the forest. Unfortunately if you want to be entertained you should go somewhere else, the entire staff walks past you and doesn't pay attention to you, on request you will be referred to the colleague who shows just as little interest in you. Thank you for the nice day with you.

The atmosphere of the beer garden is really unique, just like I imagine a rustic beer garden in the middle of the green. The waitresses are on the ball and hearty / friendly. We were there with a larger group, the food served in home-style cooking arrived on time and everyone liked it.

Despite Corona restrictions (only one cash register and only every 2nd table can be occupied), the process runs quickly, dishes are delicious as usual, portions are plentiful, staff friendly ... and everything in a wonderful setting. What more do you want?

This is a restaurant as one would like to recommend to many. Friendly service, perfect service, nice atmosphere. The food ; Roast wild boar; was perfect. Will be happy to come back and recommend it to friends. Thank you!

Location top, service fast. Drink half-spilled before it reaches the guest. Pour the glass / beer mug completely wet. The menu left a lot to be desired, clearly too few dishes. The currywurst was so disgusting that I would never eat it again. Sausage salad consisted mostly of water instead of vinegar and oil, so the taste was simply not edible.

Starting point for hikes (circular routes), well signposted. There are plenty of parking spaces. Attractive menu, good cuisine, attentive service. Whoever wants: self-service in the beer garden.

Idyllic café and restaurant in the forest with a spacious outdoor area. Attached is a self-service beer garden. Large parking lot, also the starting point for an approx. 9 km long circular route. Friendly service and currently open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Nice, somewhat secluded place in the forest. Cozy beer garden in one area with service and one area with self-service. The choice of food is quite large and varied. The food itself was very good and at a reasonable price! The staff is also very friendly and dedicated! All in all a great beer garden with good food!

Very nice location in the forest. The food in the beer garden was good. Then a walk on one of the circular trails through the forest. There is also a playground for children. Time for a few nice hours.

Very nice beer garden, both self-service and table service possible. There is also a children's playground. Extensive menu and the food is good.

Always nice to strengthen yourself after a hike. My rating is based on several visits, so unfortunately we received cold fries only 4 stars on one visit. Otherwise I am always happy to go there again.

Eating OK, the beer was missing in the mug. There were six of us eating and drinking and 90 percent of them had beer. Space was great and we had our rest, had to be reserved before. Wrong delivery had to be paid, which we noticed later. Tipping was also enough. Toilet could be cleaned. I've been there a lot, but this time ...

Oh, it was a life saver! While everyone else around was closed for a Monday, this nice restaurant had saved us from starving! And great kitchen of course. And incredible local beer.

Waldgaststätte with a large beer garden about 45 minutes west of Harburg Castle. The menu is not very extensive, but the dishes are prepared very tasty. Friendly staff also ensure a good mood. In good weather, a visit is always worthwhile.

Lovely place in the forrest, quick food and drinks, big playground for kids.

A sprawling restaurant and biergarten in a wooded countryside location. Lots of standard German dishes to choose from. Beer choices are limited but were tasty so that's fine. There's a nice playground for the kids and even some walking paths if you're into that. Service was pretty good, the biergarten is self service but the counter help was actually friendly which isn't always the case in Germany.

A very nice place in the forest for a break and a cold one, maybe even a piece of cake. They have beer, alcohol free drinks, cake and warm food. A playground for children is also available.

Wonderful place for a winter or a summer walk, so many trails. Then a pint after, what could be more perfect. Food is really good, good mix of tradition German with a modern edge. Super cozy in winter and great beer garden in summer.
